The release year can usually be recognized from the last two figures of AG 511/1/xx on the cover. It's the legal printing license for the sleeve.
Items with catalog numbers like [x x0 xxx] are mono-releases, while catalogue numbers like [x x5 xxx] or [x x6 xxx] indicate stereo sound. This applies to all pre-1991 releases on the Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin sublabels.
For Eterna records of the 1983-1990 area the last one or two letters of the runout code encode certain properties of the record. The following codes are documented: "C" stands for "copper cut" (documented as "Kupferschnitt", presumably similar to DMM), "U" stands for UC (Universal Compatible) compander usage, and "CU" stands for both combined. "DU" is also used on later records, apparently combining DMM with UC.
