Nová deluxe verze multi-platinového alba „Songs For You, Truths For Me” obsahuje nový singl Get To You a další novou skladbu On The Same Side a hlavně bonusové cd - Morrisonovi oblíbené skladby v akustickém provedení včetně fantastické interpretace Man In The Mirror od Michaela Jacksona! První album Jamese Morrisona z roku 2006 se stalo jedním z nejlépe prodávaných debutových alb v Británii toho roku, dalo světu pět úspěšných singlů, prodalo se jej přes dva milióny a pomohlo tehdy jedenadvacetiletému Angličanovi z Derby, majiteli jedinečného soulového hlasu, k hvězdné slávě, vystoupení s jeho oblíbeným Cat Stevensem či účinkování na Koncertu pro Dianu. Na novém albu se tématy nových písní stali opět jeho blízcí. „Nazval jsem album Písně pro vás, pravdy pro mě, protože mi to přijde nejvýstižnější. Jsou to písničky pro mou přítelkyni Gill, po které se mi na turné tolik stýskalo, ale i pro jiné lidi. Skladba Love is Hard je jedna ze tří, kde je slovo láska v názvu. Nikdy mě nenapadlo, že to takhle napíšu, ale takové byly moje pocity. Tahle deska je takovou sbírkou pravd, které jsem si minulý rok uvědomil.” Na novém albu se objeví většina spolupracovníků z jeho předešlé desky (Martin Brammer, Steve Robson a Eg White).Nově Ryan Tedder z One Republic a v úžasném duetu Broken Strings Nelly Furtado.
